Allison Friedman – Senior Associate
Allison Friedman joined The Wager-Smith Law Firm in 2009 with a primary focus on medical and dental malpractice defense, employment and personal injury litigation. An Ohio native, Mrs. Friedman studied abroad in Reggio Emilia, Italy before obtaining her Bachelor of Arts in Italian, with a minor in Western European Studies, from the University of Wisconsin. Thereafter, she attended the University of San Francisco School of Law on a Dean’s Scholarship and graduated in 2004. While in law school, Mrs. Friedman was a chosen participant in the Keta Taylor Death Penalty Project and the Comparative Law Program in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.
Mrs. Friedman has practiced in personal injury, medical and employment malpractice defense, and employment litigation for Bay Area firms including: The Goldman Law Firm; Freitas, McCarthy, MacMohan & Keating, LLP; Vogl & Meredith, LLP,; and The Gearinger Law Firm. In 2007, Mrs. Friedman published the article “If You’re Going to Bring It, Bring It On: The Ins and Outs of Motions for Sanctions Under C.C.P. § 128.7.” In 2015, Mrs. Friedman was awarded the Chief’s Award for courageous actions of citizenship by the Walnut Creek Police Department. She is a member of the San Francisco Bar Association and the California Bar Association.
